Early industrial fan connection technology was mainly bolted, and it is as same as ordinary household fan.The parts are fastened together using bolts, but due to large size and heavy weight,with collisions, power outages etc,makes the bolt easy to bend or even break, resulting in hidden dangers.

The mortise-and-tenon structure is the most important connection method in China's traditional woodworking technology. The mortise is a convex structure , and tenon is a concave structure, collectively referred to as mortise-tenon.  The manufacturing technology of mortise and tenon structure in China has been discovered in the Neolithic site in Hemudu Village, Yuyao, Zhejiang 7,000 years ago, and has matured through the continuous evolution of large-scale wooden building systems in Chinese history.


The main function of the mortise and tenon joint is to connect and fix two or more components. Unlike the glue,metal welding and bolt connection, the mortise and tenon joint is flexible, which is a significant advantage. China's traditional architecture relies on its flexible connection, which makes it quite flexible and capable of self-recovery to a certain degree. Compared with other connection methods, the mortise and tenon joint allows a little deformation. The structural connection is at a flexible node instead of rigid , so that the connection can bear larger load,and it also can absorb some vibration through deformation,enhances stability.

1.Inner cone and motor connection
Adopted oblique cone mortise and tenon connection, composed of inner and outer cone. Internal inner cone connect with motor output shaft, external inner cone connect with outer cone, other parts fastened inner and outer cone .
Firstly ensure the inner cone and motor as a whole, then outer cone and wheel chassis as a whole. In this way, when the fan under falling force, the force is more strong , the inner and outer cone will be more fastness. It not only ensures the fan structure integrity, but also makes the force more even, forbidden the fan falling possibility and extends the motor life.


2.Chassis and petiole connection
Adopts hook type mortise and tenon connection, hook type tenon not only can support heavy loading but also allow some deformation. The fan generates vibration when it is running. This structure can absorb some vibration through its own deformation and minimize the resonance frequency
The chassis is composed of upper plate, chassis and petiole. The upper plate and chassis are made of Q235 steel plate, ensures the overall strength. The upper plate combines 5 petioles into a whole with high-strength bolts, but the bolts only take fastness effect.


3.petiole and buffer device connection
Adopted concave and convex mortise tenon joint connection, the fan blade path is horizontal clockwise transmission, the lateral sides of petioles and buffer connecting head concave design for 124 ° outward expansion to guarantee the assembly compactness, and 8 ° upward.Buffer device is composed of many parts, the most important is buffer cavity, design two sliding bolster inside, bolster and buffer cavity with special materials to achieve the buffer purpose.
The head of right and left buffer pieces design is convex and 124 ° inward slant with petiole assembly .The center locked with a 12.9 grade high strength bolt (This bolt also only take fasten effect and not sustain the shear and centrifugal force).This ensures buffer device and petiole connection reliability and professional, avoids the blade crack caused by excessive shear and centrifugal force during running.
